Handstand Series: 1 - Warmup and Cartwheel (10)

This first class will start with a warm-up for the wrists and then teach you how to cartwheel out of a handstand. This will give you the confidence and skills to bail out as you are learning this fun skill/pose. The class is only 10 minutes, but keep practicing until you can cartwheel out confidently five times in a row before moving on to the next progressions.


Part of the Beginner Handstand series. Build your handstand practice step by step with this short and structured series. You’ll start by learning how to safely cartwheel out, then progress to confident kickups at the wall. From there, you’ll develop strength and control with half tuck drills, first with support and then exploring balance. Each class is just 10 minutes — designed to help you build the foundations of a steady handstand you can grow from.
